carcass of Nessie found?

This site (see link below) has a video from youtube on it that claims to be a film of the carcass of the Loch Ness Monster on the bottom of the Loch .
It is from a TV programme I believe , but don't know if it has been screened yet. go take a look and see what you think. Just looks like a heap of mud to my untrained eye.

Did witness see a panther in Devilla Forest?

DEVILLA Forest is the location of the latest chilling big cat sighting - with a regular dog-walker saying he will never set foot in the woods after dark again. The witness, who did not want to be identified, claims to have seen two pairs of green eyes staring at him from behind trees. The man said the eyes, reflected in a torch he was using, stalked him all the way back to his car - a distance of around 300 metres. The incident happened last Tuesday (24th November) at around 5pm near the forest entrance by the A985 Rosyth to Kincardine road. Bob Wallace (47), Fife representative of Big Cats in Britain, said, "He contacted me about an hour later, but refused to meet me at the location that night, stating that he was never going back into the woods after dark." The man first noticed something was up when his dog began to growl and refused to go any further. Mr Wallace said, "He shined his torch around and the tree line and, at a distance of about 40 feet, saw a pair of green eyes reflected in the beam. "A few seconds later, he states that a second pair of eyes appeared slightly behind and to the left of the first pair." The man stood for a further 30-40 seconds trying to figure out what was watching him, but began to feel "freaked out" so backed off towards his car, keeping the torch on the eyes. Mr Wallace continued, "He said that although he was backing away, the eyes didn't seem to get any further away from him. In fact, he is sure that they were walking towards him and his dog."

Last month the Press reported the story of two Valleyfield men, James McGarry (25) and Alan Yates (18), who claim they saw a large black cat while out hunting rabbits at night last month in a Culross field. There have been around eight sightings this year in West Fife of big cats, ranging from panthers to lynx. Mr Wallace said another man had contacted him about a possible Lynx sighting near Pitfirrane golf club in September.

He was driving into Crossford at around 2am when he said he saw a large beige coloured creature run across the A994.

Western interest in the Yeti peaked dramatically in the 1950s. While attempting to scale Mount Everest in 1951, Eric Shipton took photographs of a number of large prints in the snow, at about 6,000 m (19,685 ft) above sea level. These photos have been subject to intense study and debate. Some argue they are the best evidence of Yeti's reality, but others contend the prints are from a mundane creature and have been distorted and enlarged by the melting snow.1971 Yoshiteru Takahashi, who was a member of a Japanese expedition claim a member saw on Dhaulagiri, a gorilla 15 metres away from him for 40 seconds. Claiming it was 150 CM tall. He says his camera failed, so he could not take a picture.

In 1972, footprints found by Edward Cronin and Dr Howard Emery around Everest base Camp. They followed these to a steep incline. They said a person could not have climbed the climb. A mould of the footprint was took for Jeffrey McNeely.

1978 Lord Hunt, also known as John Hunt, who led the successful 1953 expedition to climb Mount Everest, took a photograph of what some thought could be Yeti tracks.

2008 on July the 25th, the BBC reported hairs collected in a remote Garo Hills area of North East India by Dipu Marak were analyzed at Oxford Brookes by Anna Nekaris and Jon Wells. The tests were inconclusive, and ape expert Ian Redmond told the BBC there was similarity between cuticle patterns of the hairs and specimens collected by Edmund Hilary in Himalayan expeditions in 50s donated to the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, and announced planned DNA analysis. Analysis revealed the hair came from a Himalayan Goral.

On October 20th, 2008 seven Japanese adventurers photoed prints possibly made by a Yeti. The leader, Yoshiteru Takahashi claims to he saw a Yeti on a 2003 expedition, and wants to record a Yeti in action on camera.

White stags have long been associated with mythology and legend, an elusive yet magnificent beast. King Arthur was left frustrated by his attempts to capture one, as were the Kings and Queens of Narnia, who chased the creature through the woods and found themselves tumbling out of a wardrobe. But photographer Ken Grindle has managed to get a little bit closer, taking this picture of the animal in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. The majestic wild animal - long associated with mystery and good luck - was filmed by the wildlife enthusiast. Ken, 66, has been filming and photographing wildlife in the area for the past six years - but had never seen a white stag. 'I was very surprised to see it,' he said. I was camped in a shelter and was really fortunate. It just strolled right in front of me and calmly wandered around. 'He is a beautiful creature and it's really nice to be able to show people who perhaps can't make it into woodland what beautiful animals roam out there. 'I was lucky to be able to get some footage of it as well as the battery on my camera was running out. 'I wasn't sure I'd actually got it until I got home. I take the pictures to share with everyone as a lot of people can't get out into the woods to see this.' The Forest of Dean is thought to be home to an array of unusual and wild creatures including wild boar, big cats and white stags. Retired builder Ken added: 'There's a lot of talk about big cats in the Forest and that really would be something to see. 'I managed to stand my ground when some wild boar came out into the path in front of me but it might be a bit different if I saw a big cat.' Last year a white stag was spotted in the Scottish Highlands and was photographed by a member of a nature charity while she was on an expedition on the west coast. Fran Lockhart, of the John Muir Trust, a charity which protects wild land, said she was "thrilled" to spot the majestic beast, which is closely identified with the unicorn. In October 2007, a wild white stag was shot by poachers on the border between Devon and Cornwall, where horrified locals had known it by the name Snowy. It was decapitated and its 300lb carcase found hanging from a tree in a yard. It is thought the stag's head, along with its antlers, had been claimed as a trophy and could be mounted and possibly sold for thousands of pounds. White deer, closely identified with unicorns, have been potent figures in the mythology of many cultures. It is said to be bad luck to kill one. According to the Scots legend, in 1128, David I, King of Scotland decided to go hunting on the Feast Day of the Holy Rood, against the wishes of his priest. While hunting he saw a huge white stag, or "hart", and while giving chase he was thrown from his horse. The white hart charged forward to kill him, so David - son of Malcolm Canmore and St Margaret - called on God to save him. As the king grasped the hart's antlers, they miraculously turned in to a large cross, and the beast raised its head and vanished. Inspired by his vision, King David built a shrine to the Holy Rood - meaning Holy Cross - on the spot where the miracle occurred. The ruin of Holyrood Abbey can still be seen today, at the foot of the Royal Mile next to Holyrood Palace. The White Hart Inn in Edinburgh's grassmarket, reputedly the oldest pub in the capital, took its name from the legend. The Celts considered white stags to be messengers from the "other world" and their appearance was said to herald some profound change in the lives of those who encountered them.In the Chronicles of Narnia, the White Stag is fabled to grant wishes to whoever catches him. And in the Arthurian legend, the white stag is the creature that can never be caught. King Arthur's repeatedly unsuccessful pursuit of the white stag represents mankind's quest for spiritual knowledge.

San Antonio 'Bigfoot' sightings might just have been hunters

There have been a number of sightings of a Bigfoot seen near San Antonio's west side, and investigators have found "unexplained" foot prints.

San Antonio, Texas - An auto body shop on the west side of San Antonio has been getting a regular visit to its trash bin at night, a hairy beast that scared staff because they did not know what it was. It was ruled out as being the potential Sasquatch called in to police by a woman, who claimed she saw a large creature dragging a deer into the woods on Monday night. It turned out the visitor to the trash bin is a Macaque monkey, One employee of the body shop encountered the monkey at night, and said it was around three feet tall. As for the presumed Sasquatch, police think that perhaps their caller saw a hunter. The woman caller had described “... what appeared to be a 6-foot-3 or larger creature covered with fur or hair, and had a very foul odor. It ran toward the water tower, past 1604, carrying a deer. I know there are a lot of hunting areas out that way... maybe it was a hunter.” said San Antonio Police Department spokeswoman Romana Gutierrez when talking to My San Antonio.

While the police may have written off the idea of a Bigfoot wandering around San Antonio, Bigfoot hunter Rick Tullos, who is with the group Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization, wasn't so quick to give up. He searched the same area of the sighting with a member of the press and found tracks, which he will analyze to see if they were created by a human or by an animal. WOAI news reported that at least two different callers reported the Bigfoot sighting on Monday, and similar reports had been made two weeks ago, although those calls described the creature as "monkey-like."San Antonio reporters have been shocked by the idea that the police thought at least one of the callers sounded "surprisingly sober." Our Strange World has posted the video footage captured by the owners of JD's Paint and Body Shop. San Antonio is home to over one million people. Officials brag that it is the "most visited" city in the United States.

San Antonio is home to the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research. It's Primate Research division is ten years old. In Texas, it is legal for hunters to be out one-half hour before dawn and one-half hour after dusk.
